Congratulations to Parahandy who has captured our little championship here with 229 points. Well done. Second goes to Pitsch with 227 and third to Randy with 225. Well done everyone.

Pitsch had the best race with 12 points. No one picked Webber to win and only Vital Spark picked him for the fastest lap. My understanding is that Vital Santa has some Hot Wheels for Parahandy's stocking as the winners prize. :D

That's a wrap. See everyone late February or early March when they open the pool for the 2012 season. Happy Holidays to all. :thumb: Pete

Many thanks for all your kind words re winning this incredible contest. It has been my dream to win this since I was a kid, which wasn't long ago. This is probably the pinnacle of my career.

I would like to thank my mother, my dog, my next-door-neighbour and, above all, Ms. Spark, for her unswerving ability to point out where I went wrong. I am already frightened by the concept of 'Hot Wheels' in my stocking. I've tried to stop wearing them recently anyway.

I hugely look forward to driving my prize Red Bull down Ratchadamnoen Avenue, round Democracy Monument and back, just like Mark. Do you think that anyone will notice, even if I do it in stockings?

On a marginally more serious note, huge thanks to Pete for all his efforts this year, and I hope that we can all have a good time of it again next year. Meanwhile, a 'quiet' off-season beckons. Merry Christmas, or whatever happens to pass as you mid-winter fest, and a good New Year to all.

Thence to next year. I can hardly wait, and neither can my dog...

I've already congratulated Mr.VS (aka Parahandy) personally, so don't need to repeat it on a public board. Well done Pitsch and Randy for well deserved podium places.

Last, but not least, thank you Capt. Pete for managing the pool. I thought you were in for a podium finish at one point, but I guess you had a problem with your gearbox towards the end...

I guess Mr. Hamilton is going to spend the winter break trying to woo his beloved Nicole back, and poor little Rubens will be telling everyone he's not too old to race and he really can show the young ones how to do it.

VS

Well - congrats to Mr P

However - unbeknown to you all, I've had a season long problem with my gearshift.
I seem to be permanently stuck in neutral and appear to be forever coasting.

According to my 'pit lane hotty' (Mrs T) this requires some rather in depth tuning.
Seems that a major redesign of my diffuser accompanied by a much improved aero package is called for.

Personally I think that it may be a lubricant problem.

More red wine is required :duck:

That's odd, because the last time I spoke to Ms SparkPlug, she said she'd get some stockings that would take his mind off his Miss Piggy fantasies. Unfortunately, it seems to have backfired...

Whilst I was an admirer of his skills - his monaural voice left me cold - and he was frankly boring.........

I thought that I told you to burn that photo! Even if you didn't, I seem to remember you having a particularly good time that night. Remember the pink snorkel and the shaving cream?

Terry - I agree totally about both Raikkonen and the aero problem. Ms Spark keeps commenting that my double diffuser is larger than FIA regs allow...
