Best hotel in Hua Hin

Hi,

I've done quite some search on web to find a really good hotel for my stay in Hua Hin i december.

I've found the big 5 star hotels, such as Hilton, Sofitel, Wyatt and they are of course fantastic (for me who usually stays in guesthouses).

However, is there any smaller, hotel (Sofitel has 280 rooms) with approx the same quality and service? I'm not spending that kind of money on accomodation normally so now when I am, I really want the best: on the beach, close to town, seaview, nice rooms, pool and good service.

I would really appreciate some advice!

Stayed at thye Sofitel a year ago and do not think that you can go far wrong with it.
The hotel itself and the gardens are fantastic, you are right on the front of the beach and there is plenty of space at the pool.

Hi Anantara, is really nice and on beach, a bit further out of town but taxi's are cheap enough. Westmoor 04

Of the Big Four (Hilton, Sofitel, Marriott and Hyatt), the Hyatt is my pick for the leafy setting and huge river pool, not to mention the sliding bathroom doors!
