'Arry's destined for a spell in t'clink! I wonder if they're taking bets on his replacment yet? I'd have a quid on Ancelotti - for Spurs or England.

England played the game they needed to, ie defend well against a technically superior team and take their chances on a breakaway.
I see (with satisfaction) that Fabregas has developed symptoms of Torres-Spanish syndrome: long greasy hair held in place with a girlie hairband and missing open goals.

Arry definitely deserves the job, he's won a Carling Cup, what's this no nothing foreigner ever won?

Just for those of you who didn't detect the mild hint of sarcasm in Baa Baa's above post...

Capello has the distinction of winning the domestic league title with every club he has coached throughout his career. In his first five seasons as a manager he won four Serie A titles with Milan, where he also won the 1993–94 UEFA Champions League, defeating Barcelona 4–0 in a memorable final. He then spent a year at Real Madrid, where he won the La Liga title at his first attempt, and in 2001 led Roma to their first league title in 18 years. Capello also won two titles at Juventus (which were later stripped after the Calciopoli scandal), and in 2006 returned to Real Madrid, where he won another La Liga title. Overall he has won a major league championship in seven (or nine, counting the two revoked titles with Juventus) of his 16 seasons as a coach, and is one of the few managers to claim championship victories in four major European cities: Milan, Madrid, Rome, and Turin.

Unfortunately Baa Baa's post falls on deaf ears as his clan still rates Benitez

Anywho to give credit to the above mentioned, he has only had a few minutes guestimation to figure out his best starting eleven.... it's not like he's had years to shuffle things up is it.....

Benitez is like a litmus test for me.

I'm not sure how on earth people don't rate him unless they get there "opinion" from the media and had no idea what happened at Liverpool in the last few years.

Lucas Leiva is my other litmus test, the appalling Benitez flop who starts every game for Brazil.

Rooney has had his ban reduced to 2 matches. Hooray! Now England can win the tournament.

^^  Funnily enough, when I saw the decision I thought it was the worst of both worlds - before, they could have left him at home, but now they'll feel obliged to take him, and he'll only get one game!

EDIT: RZR, Group B may be the official Group of Death, but none of them are easy! I wouldn't bet too much on England beating any of our opponents!

I agree. :|

But i would sooner be playing the teams in our group rather than facing 3 from Denmark, Holland, Germany & Portugal :|
