I doubt that this water park venture is aiming at those looking for "good value"!

Don't like their pricing structure from the point of view that it pretty much excludes your average Thai family, but at least that means it won't get too busy...

They're not trying to exclude Thai families..........they're being selective, in that they want the place reserved for the Bangkok weekenders.

Personally I think they might have to drop their prices if they want to stay busy. 705 baht for 4 hours may not be much, but if it's you. your wife, and three kids, then it's no longer such a such deal, especially since you'll also be spending money on food and drinks, which will no doubt be overpriced. Realistically, you're looking at about six thousand baht for four hours of fun.

Sorry.................Hua-Hin Fishing Lodge wins hands down....

If I were a youngster again it would be the challenge of the year to get into that place without paying. I'm sure groups of Thai youths are already plotting and planning.  Pete

Sounds like they priced it to match the time and cost of a round of golf there (with cart, caddy, lost balls, and beers to cry in after the round).
My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?

The pricing here makes Europe seem incredibly cheap for similar attractions. I've taken the kids to one of many water theme parks in Europe. Have a look at Aquatica near Frejus in France. It makes this project look like a kiddies play area. With over 30 attractions and todays price is still 25 euro (1,000bt) with family discounts, all year passes etc etc. And I'm sure the food and drinks would be much cheaper than BMG.

That's just one example. There are many many more. I suppose they think that because it's the only one in the area, they can charge whatever they like. I guess that after the initial flurry, people will just find it too expensive.

Such a shame!

With this being Thailand (well known for its double pricing standards), are you sure that they have just not published the Thai price yet?
