Hi, just wanted to do a quick introduction. My name is Jim and I'm from a town called Redding located in California. I joined the forum to meet some like-minded people and hopefully to have a little fun.
I work in the IT industry on computers (server administrator for a mid-size business).Been doing this gig for about 5 years or so and have loved every minute of it.
Im lookin forward to being a contributing member to the forum and it looks like I'll be here awhile.

I've been through Redding many times traveling back and forth between homes I used to own in San Jose and Ashland, Or. I lived in San Jose for nearly 16 years and was also an IT professional for 36 years before I retired here. Beautiful area you live in (beginning just north of Redding) as long as Mt. Shasta doesn't blow.

Yeah, seems to be a tidal wave of spammers now and Buksida is right with his thread in 'Suggestions'.
Thing is though, that there seems to be a whole load of crap being posted all the time at the moment and is in danger of 'turning off' quite a few.
