Admin...... please enlighten us as to whether we can comment about our findings regarding new eating or drinking places without them being sponsors or advertorial clients of the forum

It’s none of my business what people say and think of me. I am what I am and do what I do. I expect nothing and accept everything. It makes life so much easier.

We encourage such reports as a service to our readers, providing there is no self-promotion, or people repeatedly promoting the same establishment(s) to gain personal advantage.
Homer has it exactly right! What do most chefs ask a prospective employee to cook for them to test their skills........ the mighty omelet!
I cant remember the menu, but its extensive - Pizza, salads pasta and obviously German influenced dishes. Its not cheap but the food is good and i will be visiting again soon.
I was once a partner in a bar/restaurant in the UK and on one of my infrequent visits to the UK I was asked to be taster in chief of an omelet that was being prepared by a prospective employee, seemingly this is standard practice in the trade.
The omelet was no more than average, but we decided to hire her anyway and she was a great addition.

Atheists have no need of a god. Our lives are not based on fear or guilt. We are moral because we know it's right.

Sorry for being a 'moody-Moo' in my post here..(I must be spending to much time in the company of Khun Richard..55!).
I also wish Heaven's Kitchen all the best, & will be going in to check their omeletes

Visited HK this evening.. Wife had Lasagne/Spinach... which was enjoyable. I ordered Beef Goulash. Noodles, Re Cabbage was fine, as was the Beef Sauce. The beef itself very tough. Had 2 pieces and gave up chewing. Informed the waitress but I do not know if she conveyed it to the chef.
Will I go again? Possibly. I do not like to judge on obe bad meal.
I've had much tougher steak in SE Asia. It was edible but not worth the price. Smallest baked potato I can remember ever being served. Veggies were done to where they almost collapsed upon first bite. In other words hideously overcooked, but that's based on my California bred standards. I understand some people like all the life cooked out of their veggies. Presentation was baffling. Never seen vegetable confetti sprinkled over the whole plate. Looked like a vegan sneezed on it. Plate was weirdly shaped with highs and lows on the rim. Rest a piece of flatware on the rim anywhere other than a low point and it slides to the low point then off the plate.
Tried it again. Waitress left a menu, returned for my order, and only then told me not only was the item I wanted unavailable, the entire page of the menu was unavailable. Service quality didn't match HK's prices so I left.
