Correct
Plus the Embassy does not deal directly with the public.
You have to go to their agents in the 'Glas Haus' Building on the corner of Soi 25 Sukhumvit where it will be processed.

Re: Visiting India
Got one last year and pretty much as Terry says.
The outsourcing place wanted to keep my passport for a few days etc etc. I didn't like that so went back up on the appointed day. That was a long day. I had to be at the place before 9am (traveled from HH that morning) and collection after 3 or 4pm same day.
Oh well, I got the visa and had the chance to see BKK as I've never done before - ie watch a film, check some golf clubs out, a couple of beers and then it was time.

BTW,
My application had been made in person before. It took me 2 visits.

Which option is better? How much did you save by doing it yourself?lomuamart wrote:BTW,

Nothing.

Hi Richard,
Sorry, I can't help with the Visa, but I am living in Delhi, India at the moment. (Hua Hin end of the year)
If I can help your friend on this end, let me know. India is a fascinating place to visit. No surprise about the Visa hassels, most things don't work here without a little "tea money." :-)

No discrimination at METRO Stations...it is like this everywhere in India. How to cope??? You become "numb."
