Sounds like you need to buy her a clock then - at least it will get used!![/quote]
Only if it's battery operated! Really this would all be quite funny if it wasn't so sad that so many Thai people do have serious problems with electricity. For starters the system is basically unsafe. Then there are flooding issues - with so many people electrocuted in floods. And yet it continues to happen year in and year out. Partly education is to blame - but maybe it is more to do with 'Buddhas Will' syndrome.
December 5th last year in HH was a very good example, with the ice carving guys battling to finish the sculptures using cabled power saws amid pools of melting ice. No hazard signs or any attempt to stop Joe Public wandering around. OK - heavy duty cables - but plugged into what?

It could be worse, she could have put a pile of burning charcoal in with the food on top.

I've lost my mind and I am making no effort to find it.

Then would it be considered a BBQ?

My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?
