I've started playing with kernels and overclocking now, trying it on 1.45 ghz at the minute. 8)

Oh, the official ICS for S2 has starting rolling out today, probably take a little longer for Thailand if you want to do via kies but shouldn't be long.

How? I preferred the old 1 at first but play 1 is growing on me.
You've probably sussed it by now if you've stuck with GO, but you just long-press the icon and you get several options:
1) Replace & Rename - change the icon, the more GO themes & icon packs you've downloaded the more you can choose from. Cyanogen, Honeycomb & Win7 ones are suay mak imo. You can even customize them if you want, put text only, put a pic of a cockerel in, pretty much anything.
2) Gesture - only applicable to the dock icons, allows you to add a 2nd function/shortcut to the dock icons when you flick upwards rather than straight pressing (you can mispress it sometimes). But well handy imo, for instance I use 'email' and 'gmail' apps, now they are both on the one 'mail' icon. One opening apps drawing & locking screen and what have you.

And personally I don't like the text cluttering up the 'home screen', so just remove it as below...

The screen colours barely resemble this screenshot!? The two 'circle launcher' apps near the bottom are good, they open up your selection of speed dials, or fav. apps, fav. websites etc.

Play Logo has actually grown on me now but yeah I've stuck with GoLauncher, the customisation is great.

The circle launcher sounds good I'll have a look at that.

I didn't know you could edit each app icon individually with Go so cheers for that SJ.

My homescreen. 8)

It didn't happen because the insurance saw sense, and paid out cash

However, all was not lost ................. I had my leaving presentation at work 2 days ago, and my colleagues had a whip around, which resulted in me receiving a hefty Amazon voucher. Needing to spend it before I departed the UK, I invested in a Galaxy SII.

My new toy arrived today, and I'm slowly finding my way around. Please be prepared for some stupid questions over the next few days

Volume buttons or pinch the screen, you can also tap the screen to focus on that object/area.

Also the camera's default setting appears to be 'off' for 'anti-shake', which is a handy feature to have on.

Excellent - thank you. Pinching is obviously new terminology to me, but I found that I had to actually do the opposite to pinching it to zoom in. Anyway, it works.

Won't have time to play now, until Sunday - more questions then

After BaaBaa's post I was afraid Big Boy would pinch his phone so hard it shattered! Glad you got it right.
My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?
