ARE crap

When we can do this regularly, we'll have cracked it.
Unfortunately, you can't play Bolton every week

Sad ending to the Everton run

Still not that impressed by Liverpool

If Distin had not made such an almighty cock up - would it all have been different.................?

Looking forward to tonight's game - just wish it were 6 or so weeks ago, with Spurs on top form and Chelsea still having that twat AVB - we would be a cert to win......... :rasta:

5 minutes to go, but enough's enough.

Can't quite bring myself to congratulate Chelsea, who I didn't think played very well, but Drogba was the best player on the park. Wonderful opening goal.

There is no point whingeing about the second goal - yet another inexplicable refereeing blunder.

I don't understand why Cech wasn't sent off for the foul against Adebayor - it would have been an automatic red card if the ref hadn't played advantage, and in open play in the middle of the park the ref would go back and book a player retrospectively after an advantage had been played. I can't help feeling that the long delay with Luiz' injury and substitution gave Atkinson the perfect opportunity to just let it slide.

I thought Spurs were very ordinary most of the time, and I thought their tactics were questionable. The Chelsea right back was so slow Bale went hurtling past him every time he ran down the left wing, but they kept trying to go down the right. King and Gallas looked old and slow in the centre of defense. Van der Vaart looked uninterested.

Very disappointing.

4th place is all that's left now, and all the momentum is with Chelsea and, astonishingly, Newcastle.
This is the way

2nd 'goal' aside, it was a comfortable win. Too comfortable to be honest and I cannot understand why Spurs looked so out of it, especially considering Chelseas schedule?

And all incidents aside, it was as good as it could have been considering who we are playing in a couple of days - and thats a bonus.

Spurs team had a higher average age than Chelsea's but as the co-commentor said on ITV, if you have a good game, its down to experience and if you don't, its age!

We did well.

Yeah, seen that. Fairplay.

On Cech, he didn't prevent a goalscoring opportunity.

The big question is, would it have been a comfortable win if the ref hadn't blundered?
Difficult question to answer really, just a shame a big game like this will be remembered for the wrong reason :?

Refereeing errors are becoming so commonplace, they aren't even surprising any more.
Over recent weeks there have been to many to mention & this weekend i've seen another crop of high profile reffing gaffes :?

Barca's winning penalty at Levante, never a pen in a million years. :banghead:
Manure's first goal (pen  ) a clear dive. :cuss:
Celtic's equaliser, offside, quickly followed by Hearts injury time pen which wasn't really a pen :banghead:
Then today's phantom goal :banghead:

The only good thing to come out of it all is the spuds won't be going back to Wembley again & my phone is eerily quiet, with no responses whatsoever :?

I think it's time refs should be made to face the music & explain decisions like this in the after match interviews. :|

As BaaBaa said, he didn't deny a goal scoring opportunity.
He could & should have been booked though.

Main issues for me King/Gallas No legs (Finished), bring Caulker back with Kaboul and Dawson next season. VDV lazy. Walker and Ade giving the ball away.

6 F.A. Cup semi's on the trot lost, what a team!

Well done Chelsea. Roll on QPR away.

Now who do I want to win it?

Well done Chelski - you deserved the win - Drogbas' goal was sublime

Just wondering what it would have been like if Atkinson had half decent eyesight :guns:
