Joking aside it was an entertaining match,

Chelseas 2nd, well you can blame sepp blatter for that, remember Lampards against Germany.

Drogba back to his unplayable self and a great opener.

Lampard seemed quiet for spells but what a goal.

All in all a fair result but expected a much closer match than we got.

Roll on Barca, :banghead:

The big question is, would it have been a comfortable win if the ref hadn't blundered?
Difficult question to answer really, just a shame a big game like this will be remembered for the wrong reason :?
I'll be remembering it for the other four fukcing goals the muppets let in. If the ref blunder did effect their performance then they ain't professional or experienced enough. I'm embarrassed anyone at Spurs is even mentioning the decision, we let 4 more in. The ref blundered, happens all the time, when their own players blunder, say Carragher in other semi, it shouldn't affect a team except spur (spent 5 mins thinking of alternative word  ) them on more.

The biggest blunder of the game was Gareth Bale kicking the ball in the net, he was right there and knew it would have been a pen and red card. Best opportunity we had imo.

Congrats to Chelsea. Come on the Mickey's 8)

A bit harsh.
A dodgy pen or offside goal is an 'acceptable' blunder, happens all the time. Yesterdays decision was a bit more unacceptable.

TTM is correct.
After Lampard's goal in the word cup, FIFA should have acted.
Now we should just go ahead & get it sorted, f**k FIFA!!!

I thought that to, he was a bit hasty :?

Wouldn't go that far though

As I said in the other thread, we are currently in horrible form and it will continue for the rest of the season just like last. Real shame and I think next season when all our stars head off we will be fighting relegation.

Well, the final is now upon us

After being well being and truly fecked by Chelski in the semis and watching the shite dished out by Liverpoon in the name of football I am looking forward to a good game

Trouble is - with the form that the Blues seem to have hit, I rather think that it will be a whitewash with Liverpoon loosing big time.

Anyway - as a neutral - let's hope we see some good footy

It hit the buffers tonight

What a goal the second one was from Cisse
He's got to be the buy of the season

As for the final, i will be fairly neutral, hoping that whoever wins does so on merit & the after match talk is about the football, rather than an officials gaffe etc etc etc

Just!!!!

2-0 up & in cruise control for the 1st hour, then under the cosh for the final 30 mins.
But for that Cech wonder save, it could have all went pear shaped at the end.

As for the scousers, they must be wondering why most of their team were awol for the first hour :?

I thought the game raised more fundamental issues. It was a stroll until we (Boswinga) didn't do his job and Carroll took that opportunity well and all credit to him for that.

But after that it was route 1 and yes, it could have paid dividends, but didn't.

But that is gonna win jack s##t outside of England. Most teams understand that now and it does raise some questions about Dalgliesh and his tactics. He has bought a lot of good, soild, journeyman pro's - but the jewels in the crown are Gerrard and Suarez, who are very fine swans indeed - the rest aren't and that has to be addressed.

Me? I'm near on wrecked! :thumb:

a brilliant save.(and what a brilliant save) Its what mr Chech is there for. He played his part just like the rest of the team. we should give keepers more credit. (i know we do but you get my drift??) Worried for the scousers. 115 million spent and they won the carling cup on pens against a championship side???? Next season relegation battle for them???? they've got to change something!!! Would love to see them go though!!

just a thought!!
