What is the Acceptable Age Difference Here

Strange this one to say the least. My first girlfriend here (or ever) was seventeen whilst I was twenty three. Everything was 'cushty' as you say. Broke up a fair few months back, she being twenty one, myself twenty seven. Now I am turning 29 I find myself being looked down upon by the Thai people when I date a 19 year old (Sorry I love those 19-21 girls)

Now you know where I'm heading with this and the obvious question was asked . "Hang on a moment love - I aint that old now am I?" I say. "Look at the bigger difference in age with the older folks".

"Ahhh", she says. "She clever lady, find old man take care she". I continue to listen intently "You young farang mai mee tdang".

So it seems when a spring chicken like myself messes with the younger lasses they look down on both me and the girl but with the older folks they; a) Applaud the lass for hooking a catch and... b) Don't look down on the bloke as he is taking care of one of their own in a better way than a young mug like myself currently could.

As I said.... a weird one. Would be interested to hear your opinions on it.

I have a hunch the girls age is not the reason they're looking down at you. It took you 29 f'kin years to get your second bird.. They'd be crossing the road where I come from.

Erm no Richard.... SJ stated how they would be running away from me back in the UK because I hadn't f**cked about with everything in a skirt during my time there. There are deeper psychological issues for sure as to why men pick up younger women (Christ, I'm doing it already) but I certainly don't know enough about it to comment. All I know is that if you prefer your female young then you're in the right place that's for sure.

It's quite interesting as to why we do it. There are many sites about. Some based from a female point of view, some a male and some psychologists - of course you get an abudance of differing reasons. I think it's just that we can more than anything else.
