Need Suggestion to get a job opportunity in Hospitality

Rahul: Seems very strange that you are looking for a new position in hotel management especially after we confronted you in the hotel you are now working at about missing money from room safes
and you were the only person with authority to access safes and the only person with the code to access CCTV of the corridors. I hope that whlist you are in your little office, you do look at the CCTV footage of our floor and hope we can receive an answer as you mentioned when I wrote a review on Tripadvisor. Please do not think that we will just forget about this very serious incident. Like I said before, we have stayed at this hotel 8 times in 4 years and have never had anything like this happen before. I hope you find a new job on the other side of the world and leave us to have more happy times at our favourite hotel with our many friends we have made.

There is nothing to be strange, everyone would like to grow in their career field. As i have already mentioned to you that the time we did not have the code to access the CCTV camera but later on, while you were at our hotel, we did inform you that we have got the access to CCTV and will be investigating in detail through this. Sir, i can understand your situation, infect i might feel the same as you feeling now, therefore please accept my sincere apology again for the incident, which happened with you.

As i mentioned to you before, its certainly our pleasure to have you and we hope to see you again. I would like to inform you, that you will get a reply from us very soon. Please allow us some time.

Well isn't this a surprise !!!looking for a new job already you only been there 6 months ? Re: My money stolen !!! Your the manager with the only key & now because you had a sudden access problem with CCTV until the day we left ...Are telling us u now are looking at it !!!! Come on you are either way the one responsible and should resign and find a new career that requires no responsibility with customers money !!!!

I will never see my $1000 AUD nor will my friends $500 & the only way we will come back is if your gone .

I will be contacting the compass group who owns this hotel to voice my concerns and remind them that this year so far we had 10 rooms ... Cheers

Rahul, if you are the manager its your responsibility to report to the police if some snake is stealing your patrons holiday money.

So my question is what have you done about it, or maybe you have something to hide explain to the forum please.

Well I am going back to India tomorrow. Sounds like I should pack this guy in my suitcase and drop him off short of India. Thought it was a bit weird that he joined the Forum just to solicit a job. He is worse than the Tailor Shops pestering you to buy a suit when you are in shorts and a T. He doesn't belong in either country. Pack him up...I will drop him off.

Normally, the hotel does not take responsibility for the lost. As per your concern, you have already informed us by yourself that you are not sure whether you have lost your money at our hotel or at the airport. As per concern to your friend's we have already reported to the police and waiting for their response. We are investigating as well.

Can we request you and your friend to check with your Thai Girl friends, whether if they know something about this.

well now I'm 100% sure Rahul I did not say I lost it at Airport I said I did not report it straight away as in my mind when telling my mates I never for one second think my safe was able to be opened until it happened again ..

As for our girlfriends they have been with us a lot longer than you have been the new manager we do not give them access to the safe code anyway as we would not give it to anyone !!! Otherwise dont call it a safe ! they are not the ones 1000000%

Fellow poster can u be serious ... 4 years in same hotel ,,, manager only new face money goes from 2 rooms only manager with access .. Tells us CCTV not avail till day we leave ???

I had $5000 in mine my friend over 3000 so if it's the thai girl friends why not take the lot !!!!!!! Because they did not take it .. The one that did it only took a slice to think we got drunk & spent more than we think etc it's a joke .

We all know we will never see our money or see the CCTV so the only thing by even posting is to cause some drama & ruffle feathers which we are doing.

Finally if you go to the accomadation section of forum under citin loft were our posts started u will see that this hotel chain has been victim of this scam before ....

Agree that hotels normally don't take responsibility for lost items etc but from hotel "safes" they do... Anyway I am sure your bosses will be happy with you losing some big business by us going elsewhere !! So maybe you looking for a new job one week after we leave will be the best thing for all concerned.

Hotels do normally not take responsibility for the content of the safe in the room. The hotel offers the room safe only as a service that the guest can choose to use at his own risk. Hotels might take responsibility for items given for safekeeping directly to them (e.g. safe boxes behind the reception) and registered as such. You will understand that otherwise any guest at any moment can claim any amount in cash gone missing from his room safe. Ask travel insurance companies about the percentage of bogus claims through which people try to (partly) fund their holidays.

PS I am NOT saying this applies to Grassman's claim.
