A new luxury bus service to Hua Hin, called the “Yellow Bus”, has been launched, departing Phuket daily at 7am.
The Roong Reuang Coach (Mukdahan) Company, also known as the “Yellow Bus”, has been in operation since 2005 and has maintained four routes stretching the length and breadth of Thailand.
“We launched the first bus on the Phuket to Hua Hin route on May 19,” said Yellow Bus Marketing Manager Attaporn Kompipatpong.
The long-distance coaches used for the Yellow Bus services each have 30 first-class massage seats – seats with massage-vibration units built in – and individual entertainment systems, explained Mr Attaporn.
“To promote the new route we are offering a 15 per cent discount on tickets until the end of July,” he added.
The regular fare to Hua Hin is 617 baht, a price set by the Department of Land Transportation.
Tickets are available at the Yellow Bus counter at the Phuket’s newest bus station, Bus Terminal 2 on Thepkrasattri Road.

Yes I, too, would be interested to know about buses from Hua Hin to Phuket!
Re: Yellow Bus: new route from Phuket to Hua Hin
Yellow bus depot is to the north of Hua Hin. Heading towards Cha'am you cannot miss it; it is all yellow - buildings, walls etc.

On May 23rd, Mr Attaporn Kompipatpong, Marketing Manager of Rungrueng (Mukdahan) Limited or Yellow Bus, held a press conference regarding the opening of the new route 785 Phuket-Hua Hin.aragon wrote:What about going in the other direction, where's the Yellow Bus terminal/office in HH??
Mr Attaporn said, “Up until now, Yellow Bus has been allowed to run 3 routes: 815 (Mukdahan-Rayong), 393 (Rayong-Samui Island), and 831 (Mukdahan-Hua Hin). We are pleased that we can now offer a new route, 785 which runs from Phuker to Hua Hin. It’s a first-class service with massage seats and private TVs. But unfortunately, there is only 1 round per day.”

The bus runs from Phuket at 7AM and arrives in Hua Hin at 3.48PM while the one from Hua Hin leaves at 8AM and arrives at 4.48PM,” Mr Attaporn added.
From now until July 31st, if you buy a round trip ticket for Phuket-Hua Hin, you can get 15% discount. Each ticket is 617 Baht. Tickets are available at Phuket Bus Terminal 2 and Green Bus Counters.

The Yellow Bus terminal is just past the airport runway and on the LEFT side of the road. You have to look closely as it can be easily missed as it is right after the tunnel the road makes a turn to the right then almost exactly where it straightens out turning left straight to ChaAm its on the left.

Re: Yellow Bus: new route from Phuket to Hua Hin
OK, follow up to that:
There is a ticket office on Petchkasem, opposite the Proton garage / dealership, a couple of hundred metres south of the Bangkok Hospital. The service will do pickups from there and from the Clock Tower in town, as well as from the terminus building mentioned in posts above.
The details in the website are basically wrong (seemingly the phone number too), and the schedule has not yet made it properly online. Departure time from the ticket office is 8:50 am. Used it on the 16th, and all went well.
