Quite a few of the 7-11s stock it in smallish plastic containers.

I've just asked my daughter, and she says there is nowhere in Hua Hin that regularly sells it. Apparently if you look in the Day Market, you'll find it on sale occassionally. She also says that when it's available in abundance, you'll see little stalls along the side of the road.

She did say that she saw it on sale at the Floating Market, but doesn't know if that was a regular thing or a 'one-off'.

My wife says to check out the Golden Place supermarket. She sees it in there. They do seem to carry a lot of healthy foods. Another idea might be the Mini Farm. Good luck.

I'm pretty sure that Golden Place stocks the same brand as 7-11s. I think it's all from farms west of HH that are sponsored by The King.

We are now living in Cha Am and my wife brought what I would call "pure raw honey" from the main market here - not only did it come with some of the honeycomb, there were also a few (dead) bees in it as well - tasted nice mind you.

It's not exactly the real deal. The bee-keepers put sugar in the hives.

Are you talking about the honey from the golden place and 7-11 or the honey bought at the market in cha am?
We bought some from a guy on the street one time who had a bucket full and a whole bunch of honey combs in it. I thought I was getting pure honey. My old lady has just informed me they put sugar in it sometimes the same as you have said. She told me the stuff from the store is the real deal and that's why it costs more. I thought the stuff we bought on the street way back when was pretty darn tasty but I guess it wasn't 100% honey. Then again we are in Thailand and things may not always be what they appear to be.

Not 100% sure but I would try the shophouse right next door to Subhamitra Hotel, where they have a table full of spices and stuff outside during the day. They don't stay open late - closed by about 4 pm.
