Fortunately, it won't be us BG

We were abysmal & i can hardly think of anything positive to say about our performance :(

Good evening y'all gentle guys of HHAD.

Time to sub myself in and join the Euro twenty 12 board.
So far the Germans had been unprecedented good during this Tournament this far. We Aced the group stage sent the Greeks home @ the first knockout round. But now the Germans must face their dreaded opponent. "The Classic Matchup. A.k.a. Der Klassiker: Germany/Deutschland vs. Italy/Italien." Schocking Music: Tat Tat Taaahhh!!!!
Statistically Germany haven't Won against Italy in major Tournaments. But know with Löw's Boys 2 days more rest and and we almost have the youngest Team well.... That's about it!

Tonights match was very good both the English and Itals had both equal chances. Up until the 60's Min. Then someone's suddenly pulled the plug and let the air out. Fatigue are setting an they managed to save themselves beyond stoppage time
The Penalty Kicks area subject on their own.
As Ashley & Ashley missed their Goals and Diamanti puts the final nail into the english coffin ending their hopes in reaching the Semi's!!

Some points to note re last nights game

1) England were abysmal
2) At least we did not see John Terry sitting on the pitch balling his eyes out
3) If I were in England right now, I would not want to be called Ashley
4) At least I don't have to get up in the middle of the night any more.

Though England were poor last night I thought Italy were very good. Their precision when passing was mostly excellent throughout the game. Now I don't mean the pacy Spain passing where they are continually knocking it back and forth to each other until they (eveeeeennnnttuuuaallly) find a gap. This was a mixture of everything I thought. We would try to switch wings with a long ball and either over hit it or undercut the thing everytime. Italy nailed that nearly everytime.

Our passing throughout was basically crap - weather it was a poor pass or simply the wrong pass. That's certainly where we failed the most.

I've not watched a Germany game yet but have seen all the other teams play. Bast on last nights performance I'm gonna have to say Italy for the win. Of course they need to start putting away their chances in future like the 4 or 5 they should have put away yesterday.

I thought for the first 20 minutes or so we did OK.We moved the ball around quite well and Johnson and Welbeck had half decent chances.
True,Italy hit the bar early on but it was a shot that would have either broken the roof of the net or ended up in Row Z.
But after the first 20 minutes we achieved hardly anything. The passing was abysmal as was, luckily,Italys finishing.
The last 15 minutes of extra time we were like a punch drunk boxer hanging on and couldnt even get possession never mind get out of our half.
For me Johnson was Englands man of the match, closely followed by Terry and Gerrard.
The biggest disappointment throughout the whole tournament has been the widemen,Milner and Young. They have been shocking every game.Early in the second half, though,Milner for the first time in the tournament did get past his marker and put a cross in,albeit not a very good one.
Its believed that the Italian he outmanouvered,Bonucci, has now announced his retirement from international football !
Yes,not many babies born in England will be given the name Ashley for the foreseeable future ! 8)
We're all on our uppers,we're all going skint,

Italy will not get the time & possession they had against us v the Germans.
Having watched all the German games & think they'll win quite comfortably. :|

Harder to pick a winner in the other semi though, Spain are marginally favourites but Portugal are more than a capable side.

Terry & Johnson were probably the only 2 players to come out of the game with an credit.
As for Gerrard, did he actually come back out after the half time break ? :?
The biggest disappointment throughout the whole tournament has been the widemen,Milner and Young.
Dreadful the pair of them :(
Rooney was awful after the returning fanfare, Parker isn't international quality & neither is Wellbeck (yet!)
All in all, 1/4 finals was about the best we expected, so we shouldn't be to disappointed

Rooney, Young, Welbeck, Milner but mainly Turkey neck Hodge.

Ireland had more possession against Italy.
