Accounting questions for Hotel&Restaurant owners please...

Hi All Hotel and Restaurant owners out there.

My partner and I moved over to Huay Yang, Prachuab just over 4 months ago to help my dad with a small beach resort and restaurant business. Unfortunately, we are lacking experience in the hotel and restaurant trade and was hoping I can ask for some advice from you about the best way to deal with daily bookkeeping and month end accounting. We kept trying to come up with a better and more accurate way of doing things but we are going round in circle a bit as there are 2 aspects of the business. Just to mention that the previous accounting process was a mess hence us trying to change it.
