What's that leave you with, Buffalo hide?
Having a discusion with you does remind me of a Buffalo hide. Your right again.

Foodie, why go to India for a curry. Malaysia is much closer, and the curries don't give you the runs.

Also, if you've ever lived in or visited the UK, you will surely know there is nothing wrong with the food there. Some dishes won't appeal to you obviously, but that applies to all countries. Many people rave on about French food, but I think it's generally pretty crap. That of course doesn't mean it is crap - it's just my opinion, based on my very limited experience with French food.

There are many dishes in my own country that I wouldn't touch, but many I really love, so it's just boils down to personal tastes. BTW.....in case you're wondering, I do like a lot of American food, but well, you can get that anywhere. If fact, if BK and Mc D's are true American burgers, then I certainly wouldn't ordering burgers......lol. Let's face it; they're not burgers - they're meat patty buns.

Oh, and I can confirm..........it is bananas and custard rather than custard and bananas....lol

Don't try to impress me with your manner of dress cos a monkey himself is a monkey no less - cold fact

Or Indian curries? I have actually had a few descent curries in India (Mumbai/Bombay), but they were in 5* hotels - I wouldn't be as confident eating a curry in a night market like I am in Thailand!!

Sorry to digress from the banana pudding and/or bananas and custard (probably my all time favourite school dessert).

There is no arguament Bananas and Custard will always be so.
Where curry occured i'm not sure, why do foodies who have no idea of international cuisine impose?
US food will always be over impressed, too big a portion , that is why most Americans are fat.
Indian curry is not how Brits see it, travel to india and see how the food is fragrant and interesting, as is Thai.
Britain will always exceed as they incorporate the food of all nations, not just BK and McD.

Chas
The bone and point of annoyance is that the post is about Banana Pudding not Bananas and Custard. They are two different dishes. The use of the word by Brits of it being a PROPER something is the irritant, it might be proper to you but shite to others , proper is a pompous word and the reason I used India was because that is where curries matured from, as the Romans were probably the originators. To think that BK and MCd is what American hamburgers are, just shows your ignorance. So America has fat people but England doesn’t. The British Heifers with Bad teeth walking Market Village is very attractive. I guess there are no fat Brits. LMAO
If you read the previous post there is no response to my repost just a try of flogging on something else, typical.

The bad British teeth card, excellent, let's be honest, a nation that fails at stage one, Bacon, has no right to judge others.

Moose - I'm guessing you're going to be in the same boat as me....... and end up making your (or your family's) favourites yourself.. provided of course you can get the necessary ingredients. I wouldn't think you'd have much problem in Hua Hin though.

Foodie/BaaBaa..... ouch, relax guys - we're talking about a bl**dy pudding! :?

Pharvey,Moose, My first post was
"How did Banana Pudding become English Custard and Bananas. The thing that makes banana pudding is the use of Nilla Wafers which can be purchased at Villa Market. I am sure the box has a recipe on it. Like many things we crave in LOS if we want it , we need to make it ourselves. I dont know but you might try The Great American Rib Company behind McDonalds. I think a better choice then a English Chef."

This was trying to help Moose find what he wanted. The problem occured after, with the wise cracking in responce.

Moose if I do make some BP I will PM you and get you some for your son. Cheers, Foodie Out.

I thought that ribbing was something they did to make condoms more interesting.
