Missed Foods/Recipes

Post by pharvey »

OK, let's have no arguments over where food originated, where it is best etc. etc.......

I think the BANANA VS CUSTARD VS PUDDING thread just about killed me and started this.....

Just to be frank, not interested in what you can't get in HH restaurants, will endeur what you miss and why (there are other threads.....), but most of all NEED RECIPES!!!

Joking of course - free for all...... but RECIPES ARE WHAT IS WANTED!! AND.... Alternative ingredients/spices that are not available...... always bl**dy handy!!

I shall start with a very easy ...... and wonderful Banana Cake (NOT A BL**DY PUDDING.....

to avoid arguments).

And also on the American theme, a Peach Cobbler..... which ain't too bad either!!

Enough of the niceties and deserts..... Now what I'm looking for, is a decent burger recipe...... any takers, or am I starting a ruck between the Yanks the Brits and ..... well, you cares?

Now, come on with the recipes...... especially the one for Biltong!!
