Holy Cow! ...this was the week for record breaking scores. Four of us finished in double digits of 10 or above, and the lowest score would have been good for 1st or 2nd in many past races.

RZR had the best race with 11.3  The top four are now Parahandy, RZR, Pitsch, and myself/BB sharing fourth. Seven of use picked Hamilton to win.

We now have the Summer break, but don't be overly confident that the rhythm is now set for the rest of the season. Much will change with cars and strategy before races resume in Belgium on September 2.

See everyone then and best of luck! :thumb: Pete

1 - Parahandy 86.00
2 ▲ 1 redzonerocker (Yellow Cap) 85.00
3 ▼ 1 pitsch 84.50
4 ▲ 3 Pete 79.25
5 ▲ 1 BigBoy 79.25
6 ▼ 2 Terry 78.25
7 ▲ 3 Richard 76.50
8 ▲ 1 JJBones 76.25
9 ▼ 4 Vital Spark 76.25
10 ▼ 2 lindosfan 76.00
11 - pharvey 75.75
12 - JW 64.00

No you're not Johnny, you just got off to a bad start but you've had some good races recently. A clue though that it's a bit more than just guess work. If you read reports for a few minutes after the practice runs, you'll do better. Pete

Very nice of you not to mention me as having the lowest score, Pete. I've only just looked at the results, as we've been so busy this week we haven't had time to watch the race. After that I didn't bother watching it. Anyway, Mr.VS watched it this morning and said it was pretty boring, so I didn't miss much.

There yer go JW - you beat me last weekend!

Thanks for the rousing support DM  - I think I'm going to need a lot more than that to get me up the table and snapping at you know who's heels.

ALERT: Belgium GP qualifying is in about 12 hours, make your picks. I didn't receive any email reminder from Superbru once again. Pete

EDIT: The practice yesterday was literally a washout due to heavy rain. I couldn't find any tables that were helpful. A crap shoot this week when making picks IMO.

Button is on pole, No one picked him for pole or to win, and he doesn't show up at all until Terry picked him for 3rd. Others picked him further down than that. Could be a low scoring race. Pete

Someone down there perhaps call JW and remind him to make his picks within the next few hours latest. Pete

Big Boy's unscientific system of making picks 3 weeks in advance resulted in the top score of 7.3 this week. I think he's on to something. :D JW obviously picked up on the hint I gave him and was the only one to pick Button to win. Our top four are now RZR, Parahandy, Pitsch and Big Boy.

This coming weekend is the Italian GP, good luck to all. :thumb: Pete

1 ▲ 1 redzonerocker 91.25
2 ▼ 1 Parahandy 90.50
3 - pitsch 90.25
4 ▲ 1 BigBoy (Yellow Cap) 86.50
5 ▼ 1 Pete 84.25
6 - Terry 83.50
7 - Richard 82.75
8 ▲ 1 Vital Spark 82.25
9 ▲ 2 pharvey 81.50
10 - lindosfan 80.75
11 ▼ 3 JJBones 80.75
12 - JW 68.50

I will be there live tomorrow (one of the few benefits of living in Milan!) and pleased with the McLaren one-two...not sure the Red Shirts (no, Ferrari fans this time!) will be happy with my Union Jack knotted hankie!
