Seems like a bit of a metaphor for you, the lone LFC supporter, on the forum

Looking good for Murray - 6 games on the trot takes him to 6-2, 2-0 ...... Probably given it the kiss of death now

Incredible performance from the sailor Ben Ainslie who won a silver in Atlanta in 1996 and now a gold in every Olympics since.

Poor Baa Baa.....it must be like the Alamo for him on here fighting off the Arsenal,Spurs,Chelsea and United fans :D :D .......lucky for him theres no-one from Everton, though its likely some lifelong fan from Citeh could join in the near future.

Back to the Olympics.....would it be great if GB could hang on to 3rd spot !

Fantastic to watch the 100m final, pity one of them had to pull up otherwise it would have been the first time all runners clocked under 10 seconds. Bad luck for the idiot who threw a bottle towards the runners that he was spotted by the Dutch judo medal winner who pinned him to the floor until security staff arrived. The final was watched live all around the world except for the USA where NBC decided to hold off until peak veiwing time thus maximising advertising revenue, very sad.

Bolt is awesome, he coasted the last 30m of his semi and then produced that in the final. "The fastest man to have walked the earth" 8)

Congrats to Great Britains Andy Murray for his Gold, superb performance.

Commiserations to Scotlands Andy Murray on losing the mixed double Final.

Can't get into the boxing unfortunately.
