Big thanks to all who came to last night quiz, the busiest ever with 10 teams. A fitting send off for Barry and Jill who have worked for 6 years and have done all of the quizzes.
Next quiz will be the August 30th, we have a quiz master for that one but anyone who would like to take a turn let me know.

Yes, it is QUIZ time once again - Thursday 30th August at JWs, 7.30pm start. Rules are the same as usual. Food as usual.

This Quiz will be Barry and Jill’s first as players, lets see how they do 

The Quiz is pretty much done Johnny....I'm planning on 5 rounds of 10 questions before food and same format after. The joker round will still be in. The picture round is going to be replaced by an anagram round which teams will be given before the start of the quiz and they can peruse that at their leisure during breaks in the proceedings.

Are you keeping a couple of beer questions in?...I have a couple or 3 in mind.


Scoring will be slightly different in that I will ask each tables to swap their answer sheets and after marking return them. Any team then can raise any objections/questions re the scoring.

Hi All

Just a reminder about the Quiz tonight. I will be hoping to fill the void left by Barry and Jill and hope the regulars can come and support this fine monthly event and also hope to see some new faces to pit their wits and have a fun night out with some fine food thrown in(not literally)

Thanks for the vote of confidence Johnny...I thoroughly enjoyed the evening...well done to Dr Mike and team on table 5 for a great score of 101. I am more than willing to do the next one but if anyone else wants to have a crack I suggest you contact John or Barry.

Only one downside to being the quiz master is that you get last dibs on the food
