Football songs of old
I remember in the 70's when I was a wee lad, there were some very good songs about different football teams, players and managers. Who can find more of these?

Dave Webb 'sang' this on the album that Blue is the Colour was on. Can't find the original, but its still known by fans of a certain age!

So that this wouldn't become only British: here's one of my all time favourites:
I actually supported the West-German team in this tournament. Beckenbauer, Mueller, Hoeness, Breitner, Maier et. al. were all in top form, although the Netherlands played more entertaining football (even then.)

Not really a song but I'm sure many of you find this amazing. Look at the tables in February 1975 (st 4.20 of the film). Can you recall it? I can actually remember the times when Carlisle U and then another season York C where leading the tables.
