Chanote survey is not correct, am I right?

I was just measuring our recently purchased land to plan a fence but the measurements don't add up to 5 Rai. Can someone verify my calcs please.

49.5 m x 121m x 44 m x 121 m my calcs give me 5656 sq.m

It should be 8000 sq.m

Has anyone had to get their Chanote adjusted, please share your experience.

I make it 5656sq.m = 3.535 Rai.

yes your calculations are correct.
what is the land size on the chanote?
how did you get these measurements?

Your calculations are right.
Your chanote should be to scale 1:200, use the original not an A4 copy.
Each post is numbered and written on the chanote and you can go look for the posts.
The chanote also has the total area in Rai, Ngan and talang wah just above the schematic.
5656sqm is 3 Rai, 2 Ngan and 14 Talang Wah. ๓ ไร่, ๒ งาน, ๑๔ ตารางวา
