If you like a bit of Fripp a touch of Yes and may I dare add (but only with Richards blessing) what I think is a sprinkling of The Floyd , you may like the following.
Porcupine Tree live "The start of something beautiful"

Ignore the hair and there lab coat........ but not the 12 string guitars!! Believe Geddy Lee wrote this when he was 20 or so.

[EDIT] Of course not leaving Neil Peart out!!

No apologies to those who believe I'm living in the past....... I enjoy it, so there!! :neener: :neener:

Just to balance the discussion, I think the band is good, the music is good and the bar is very good. How tastes differ !

Renault Australia have been using the chorus from 'Fly' by Nantes. A catchy tune that wormed into my head.
Not a commerical success but great in the ad.

Good song...They sound a bit like Snow Patrol

Okay, can post me tune now! How many songs have you heard about racing pigeons? Although this is so much more. Just love June Tabor and her timeless interpretations......

Not so much 'what am I listening to now' as 'what I used to listen to'.

Have a wide selection of music including Thai but in a recent cock up lost half my Thai music. One ballad singer I liked was called 'Cum Pee' or something like that. Trying to restore is a nightmare as all I get are threads relating to porn (cum and pee). Am I spelling the guys name correctly?. He is a ballard singer and wears specs. Saw him perform in HH up the Neabkehart market about 5 years ago.

HELP please
