I had driven past this place many times and did not stop in until recently. Aircon bar with outside seating on the terrace. Easy parking nearby. One side is a decent bar with pool table and televisions. the other side is a restaurant doing very good Thai food and a western selection at sensible prices. including breakfasts The owner and staff are very friendly and the place seems to attract a decent crowd of regulars. Well worth a visit.
Marias is on the way up soi 88 away from busy smelly Pettchkasem. Turn right straight over the railway and follow the road past all the shops, guesthouses, bars, restaurants and the fresh produce market and Maria comes up on your left after about 1.2km.
There are 2 Maria bars, Maria owns them both maria 1 and maria 2 both on soi 88. And Chris at monica's will sort you out a bike. If not there is another place just up from there on the other side of the road
