No more waiting 12 minutes for me Big Mac meals after waking up

It's a great day for real junk food lovers.

No need to put the GF off going to Tesco really early anymore, "we'll go at 12ish, just let me relax for an hour or 2" will now be "hurry up before they stop doing the McMuffins and Hashbrowns"
Where they putting it? Mix n match doesn't ring a bell.
Got ya. Can picture the Haagen Daas now. What was mix n match then?blue05 wrote:right at the front entrance, 2 units into oneBaaBaa. wrote:Haha!

Well, yes, sort of... but let's face it, this thread was pretty much asking for it!BaaBaa. wrote:And so it begins. There is always one isn't there?
Let's face it; with the increased flow of wealthy Bangkokians into Hua Hin, HH is becoming more and more --well, what's the expression -- internationalized - westernized - americanized? The old yellow flying seagull near the post office has been a sad sight for years and the location isn't exactly attractive. So from a business point of view I understand the flying seagull people.dtaai-maai wrote: The time for Thaifoodies to start worrying is when the food stalls stop serving Thai food and the Binterburger starts appearing all round town.
Well they don't make their money throughout asia from westerners do they? Siani, I'm not actually sure if you were being tongue-in-cheek?Siani wrote:It's a sad thing...McD's in MV.....why are people eating western food all the time in HH? You may as well be anywhere in the world...for example a shopping mall in Bradford..air con plus McD's...you name it.
I entirely agree. I eat Thai food regularly as long as it's not too spicy, but I've simply got bored with it. In Hua Hin, as in most large western towns and cities, there is a wide range of cuisines available: Thai, Italian, Indian, Swedish, German, French, Swiss, etc., etc.Pedro C wrote:Let's face it; with the increased flow of wealthy Bangkokians into Hua Hin, HH is becoming more and more --well, what's the expression -- internationalized - westernized - americanized? But from my own point of view I can easily do without the Bic Mac and its siblings. I'm happy there is still a number of Thai food stalls along Petkasem that serve healthy and inexpensive Thai food.
Im beginning to wonder if I'm a bit strange - but Asian for brekky is brill IMO. A nice big bowl of rice soup with a Heinie is my first priority on arrival in Bangers. Or if it's very early morning several black coffees with those lovely deep fried pastry nibbles at the scruffy place across from HuaLamphong is heaven.caller wrote:Well they don't make their money throughout asia from westerners do they? But whether anyone likes it or not, MacDonalds and the like have been around in asia for 30+ years, its nowt new. I have to be honest and say when in HK, Singapore, Bkk and other places on room only deals, its been handy for brekky. I just cannot do asian for brekky.
