Just subscribed to the forum and want to say hello to everyone
I have been living and working in Bangkok for the last 12 years and last year bought a house in Hua Hin, which my wife and I currently use for weekends and holidays. We plan to move to Hua Hin permanently when I retire.

We read the forum with a great deal of interest and it has already helped us a great deal in setting up our new home.
I look forward to being able to contribute to the forum and of course ask more than a few questions

I work for a German company, who manufacture industrial printing machines, the type that print magazines, books etc. We operate a sales and service unit out of Bangkok.

My first house after I got married was in Yate...a little place off of Shire Way.....built by Herron Homes I seem to remember

I lived most of my life in the Kinswood and Downend areas

Moved to BKK in 2000.
