My goodness, how a week can change things. First off apologies to Lindosfan who I had relegated in my last summary to 5th, 6th or 7th....and now it is a battle between him and Pitsch and JJ Bones for 3rd, with Vital Spark and Big Boy with a chance as well. Exciting finish and all down to the last race.

I think safe to say the only way for Parahandy to win it is to find RZR and tie him up in his basement until after the race on Sunday.

JW pulls off the best race with 10.5 points.....way to go JW. No one picked Hamilton to win.

Next and last for the season is Brazil this Sunday, November 25. Good luck to all! :thumb: Pete

RZR - where exactly are you, and where is your basement, and what sort of sandwiches do you like?

Holed up in a safe house, under armed guard, somewhere in the outer hebrides, with a weeks supply of cheese & onion sandwiches!

RZR, what have you been drinking this year? Or am i mistaken when I remember it was you and I fighting for the wooden spoon last year? You won that one as well if I remember correctly.

Yes, you are correct.
So, from wooden spoon to potential gold medal, what a transformation!!! :D

Remember you said this earlier in the thread?

As mentioned before, RZR is winning way too many of these pools. Sold his soul to the devil he did. Forget the basement, burn him at the stake!! :starwars:

It's OK, sweetie. You can stop now. Absolutely no chance of a podium place this season. I'd like to blame bad internet connection in Darjeeling, forgetting the time difference in another race, and my dogs.

I think that RZR has some insider information. As soon as Parahandy and I start using Kraft cheese slices in his sandwiches I'm sure he'll divulge all...

A lot of mental stuff going on with today's race. I may have some of it wrong...pardon.

1) Hamilton I'm sure would like to win his last race with McLaren. He was an emotional basket case though during an interview earlier in the week. I don't think he'll have the emotional endurance to win it.

2) Vettel only has to finish in the top 4 to take the championship. He'll still try to win the race IMO and if Hamilton falters, he will.

3) Alonso and Massa are the wild cards. Will they cooperate with Massa trying to block Vettel from finishing in the top 4? Will there be some bumping? How dirty will Alonso and Ferrari get?

Should all make for some interesting racing. Pete

Congratulations to Redzonerocker, our Champion for this season  ....along with Vettel of course. :D Special mention for JJ Bones as well, who with some fancy driving rose 2 places this week to retake 3rd place. Superbru doesn't list the fastest pit stop yet, and if Ferrari wins it Richard will finish in 9th place rather than 10th as I see it. I'll post the final standings once Superbru does. No one picked Button to win.

I didn't watch the race but reports indicate that it wasn't too dirty. Problems with a wet track, and some aggressive driving which was to be expected. Some good sportsmanship with Massa moving over for Alonso, and countryman Schumacher letting Vettel pass to secure a 6th place finish and thus the Championship by 3 points over Alonso. Vettel still would have won it if he came in 7th given Alonso's 2nd place finish.

Thanks to everyone for playing this season. I'll start a new thread once news of the 2013 season begins to appear. Hope to see everyone back next year. :thumb: Pete
