I agree with what Dannie Boy says. Ive transfered using the halifax, was told it could take 3/4 days, but it was confirmed receipt the next day. I did this from the halifax branch, not online.
I think it depends where you’re living also if you bank onshore or offshore with Lloyds.
I experience the same as Steve, I added a recipient 2 days ago and had an automated call via my mobile in Thailand, also i bank offshore.
