hi again
hi again
Hello guy's
.I say hi again as I kind of introduced myself on another thread about where to buy food but for some unknown reason I can not reply to that thread anymore I just keep getting a message saying I am not allowed to post links
.I am not not posting any links so anyone have any ideas what is going on.
I have been living on Phuket for nearly 8 years now and have a business making British style Indian Curries.
I used to really like living here but over the last 2/3 years the place has become a nightmare with gridlocked traffic most of the day, packed polluted beaches Russians,Chinese and Koreans on mass not to mention the endless rip offs, the taxi tuk tuk mafia and the general aggression of the locals.
So it is time to move on before it gets any worse.Which it will with the non stop building.
So I have been looking at the east coast starting at Chumpon up to Hua Hin and Cha-am

Re: hi again
Agree 100%! Phuket in early '90s was great place, had a lot of fun there. Did a Google street run up soi bangla a couple of days ago and recognized not much. Was there 2 years ago, won't be going back in a hurry! Was a double trip to Phuket and then to Pattaya. Costs in Pattaya were way cheaper. Looking forward to HH move, decidede on Takiab or more than likely Khao Kalok. Bring on those curries for those days too lazy to make my own!

I plan to have a drive up there in a couple of weeks for a look around.I can bring some frozen curries up if you fancy a try.
Re: hi again
Mutton vindaloo, raita, Bombay duck with Palau rice delivered to Condo Chain or any suitable nearby location would suit me. Bell me on 089 551 8561

That sounds great - they should be thoroughly defrosted after a couple of weeks

Seriously, if you can turn out a good curry you will be very popular here.

Re: hi again
Hua Hin is a better bet, I would be a customer for sure, what are your Naan Breads like, if you do them?
Re: hi again
I hope you can make a good currie,or the curries lovers will kick you back to phuket if you disapoint them,so good luck you gonna need it, or good skills when the jury will judge your food.

Re: hi again
I think we'll leave the good currie to Edwina and trust that Richie knows how to make a good Ruby - and as blue05 mentioned, the sign of a good curry house is often based on how good their naan bread is.bsdk1960 wrote:I hope you can make a good currie,or the curries lovers will kick you back to phuket if you disapoint them,so good luck you gonna need it, or good skills when the jury will judge your food.![]()
