and get a decent newspaper on the 25th as well!
But it's always a bit of a relief when it's over, and Eastenders gets back to its normal schedule!
I love Christmas carols..community spirit...children singing...such a happy part of Christmas. The religious side does not come into it for me....Holly and the ivy...the old Christmas I used to love a lot a child. Only once a year, really makes it for me :)
Re: Newspapers on Christmas day...I am happy not to receive depressing news for one day in the year... 364 days of shootings, horror, war, etc is quite enough for me! also I did not know you can get newspapers on Christmas day in the LOS...maybe Thai ones?
Eastenders  Bloody hate it and all the crappy soaps that go with it :| I cannot understand the need to watch it  Personally I would prefer to watch paint dry, more exciting :duck:

Anyway..it's almost of...Christmas that is...

What would make my Christmas complete? A Christmas dinner, that's what! Put off till today as the other half was working yesterday, then she wants to go to the sales, okay say's I, but back by 1pm to get the meal sorted (I'm head chef and bottle washer). Okay say's she, telling porkies. 4 o'clock before we got back and I was oh so pleased, not!!! So returned said Turkey to the fridge, it having sat in a cold kitchen all day and luckily, in cold storage at the butchers until Monday. Manyana it is and no frigging sales tomorrow or ever.

I've been watching paint dry as well Boxing Day Siani! No hope for some of us I guess. But re newspapers - 25th is just another day for the Bangkok Post and the Nation.
