Arsenal when Arcadian first supported them.

Nice one

A very classy club, we get an underground station named after us, Tiny Totts ground is named after a road which is named after a pub. Our emblem is a mighty, manly cannon, Tiny Totts is a gobby chicken.

At least mines in colour - and what a team!

I still have a typhoo tea signed Bobby Tambling photo! He was my 1st hero. After he retired he ran a sports shop in Havant. We holidayed on Hayling Island a couple of times when I was a kid and my dad took me to see him there! He eventually went to live in Ireland, suffers terribly with dodgy knees and every now and then makes a return to the Bridge. He's still Chelseas record goalscorer and was voted into the all time greatest team!

Yeah, Harry Medhurst. He was trainer / Physio. He used to be Chelsea keeper and played for England. Basically, he was with the club for most of his life. After he retired as physio, his son Norman took over and he also worked with England. Now each team has an army of Doctors and physios. Different days.

I think Osgood could have been one of the greats had he not broken his leg as a 19 year old (tackle by Emlyn Hughes v Blackpool - scousers again :tsk: ), he always said it cost him a yard of pace - and he could have applied himself more! I love this clip against Liverpool from 1965 and it demonstrates the talent and pace he had. He was 18. Chelseas 2nd goal, scored by Tambling, was special as well. The films a bit dark and Chelsea are in the white socks! :D

For those of you watching in black and white, Chelsea were wearing blue.

I'd forgotten how awful the pitches could be in those days.

Went to my first Aberdeen match age 8 (i think) 1967, Remember watching Charlie Cooke before he signed for Chelsea a couple of years later.
Was lucky enough to watch The Dons through the Alex Ferguson era and see them beating the mighty Real Madrid in Gothenburg to win the ECWC in 83.
Still follow them, although never get to see them now.

Guess I'm at least the 3rd person here introduced to Spurs football by my Dad. 1955.

I don't remember the names of any Spurs players, but I remember seeing Stanley Matthews play.

Was a Rangers supporter at 10, then had a fleeting interest with Notts Forest under Cloughie, then Chelsea when Zola was playing but lost interest in English league football altogether due to cheating, foul-mouthed morons that embarrass us, like Rooney.

You see how abysmal England are internationally when Spain, Portugal, Brazil and so on, run rings around them. We don't have skillfull players. That's why we have to import them. BaaBaa's avatar says it all.

I do enjoy skill in any sport. If England ever manage to display any, I may become a fan. :thumb:
