Is there an F&B Community/network in Hua Hin

Post by trouble0408 »

I have recently come to Hua Hin to help a friend with their restaurant, PR & Marketing and general consultation...

In other cities/town around the world I have joined or helped to establish a community within the industry that enables restaurant/bar/cafe owners the opportunity to mix and mingle and help support and advise each other. This is a great way to build each others' businesses and create a strong community that help each other rather than feel the need to compete with each other... especially with Hua Hin residents and both seasonal and long term, just by simply recommending each others' restaurants by word of mouth and/or promotional materials, you can send each other clientele guests - and since guests wont go to the same restaurant every night - why not support each other and suggest each others' restaurants... it's a no brainer!?

It would be great to meet people in the industry and support each other rather than feel that it is a competition...

Please reply this message if you are interested to help build an F&B community or even better if there is one already

:)

Sorry but you can't be serious. What kind of marketing and PR guru gives themselves the name 'trouble'?

Well, if you are seeking to create a networking group on here, it would probably help to have the ability to identify people correctly, not by the 'legend' under their name! Good luck.

Trouble0408,
We are generally a friendly, social bunch.
Just a little naughty micky-taking from time to time...

[set humor on]
Professor Harold Hill, AKA The Music Man, blew into town, convinced the town folk they had trouble and then offered his solution ... for a fee. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Music_Man

It's a musical:

Trouble, oh we got trouble,
Right here in River City!
With a capital "T"
That rhymes with "P"
And that stands for Pool,
That stands for pool.
We've surely got trouble!
Right here in River City,
Right here!
Gotta figger out a way
To keep the young ones moral after school!
Trouble, trouble, trouble, trouble, trouble...

I think the idea of Restauranteurs suggesting 'other' restaurants may take a while to catch-on..competition is fierce around here, & 'low-season' is just around the corner...Personally I think the Forum itself (& it's members) does a pretty fair job of spreading-the-word about most of the worthy local dining-venues in & around town.
