I am moving to Hua Hin (from Scotland, UK) in two weeks time and was wondering is there any way I can get some of the popular UK Sports channels transmitted to my villa (Skysports, ESPN etc) as well as the terrestrial UK channels

One option is to find a friend in the UK with a SkySports subscription who wouldn't mind letting you register your computer as one of the two devices able to access their SkyGo account. Then you need a fast reliable internet connection, and a UK VPN subscription.

Football wise there is more British Football shown on Thai TV than there is in Britain, the commentators make more sense too.
