So does anybody know the answer ?

What the hell does that mean?

To be honest I think I'd struggle to get close to the lodge with a couple of "sparklers" and a firelighter after THAT evening.......

Oh, absolutely! Like everything else, the Thais have the biggest and best.
The Army may well be testing mortars, but unless they are nuclear powered there are firecrackers that have more explosive power!

Agreed
Not even 120mm mortars landing within 500m of where I am would have produced anything like the noise and shockwaves that I felt....

I was playing springfield on Wednesday morning and the explosions were very big. Both produced a big plume of grey smoke. My playing partner lives nearby and said the explosions had been going on for some time. He thought the direction was the army range.

Hi all,
I was informed by the army that they have been blasting some old bombs/amunition which caused the blasts.
It's the army camp between HH and Cha am (near Rama 6 palace).
