I have to admit United were piss poor last night.....no De Gea,Ferdinand,Kagawa or Rooney....the first three have been amongst our best players recently.....Cleverley has gone backwards this season but I thought Anderson did OK.....Van Persie as the only striker....it was like we were the away side.
The only bit of passion came from Rafael near the end when he clattered Luiz !
Since they lost to Real Madrid,United have taken their foot off the gas....defeats in the league to City and Chelsea and also in the FA Cup to Chelsea prove that.
I really thought Fergie would have got the team up for it last night,so very disappointing.Surely the time to give the fringe players a run is the meaningless games against Swansea and West Brom ?

So Spurs have to beat Chelsea on Wednesday night. If Chelsea beat them then they deserve their Champions League place after beating United as well.

Liverpool v Everton was another disappointing affair.Disallowing Distins goal looked a bit harsh but it was a pretty low key derby.
The Robbie Fowler rumour is true.....how Liverpool could have done with him at his peak yesterday.
We're all on our uppers,we're all going skint,

But you've just established that they beat a Man U B team that didn't give a toss! :banghead: BB's Pilgrims would have given that lot a run for their money.

All I can say is that if Chelsea play that badly on Wednesday, they stand a good chance of getting their asses whupped!
Let us pray...

Is this our "Terry" from HHAD forum ? Will he be replacing Adebayor ? I agree, gives you a better chance,if that is the case ! :rasta:

Well thank you Zidane - you fellow female botty spotter you :?

You've obviously NOT met ME................

But there are times when I think I could put in a better performance than Adebayor - and to add to that, whilst I was never a great Crouch fan, we would have been better off keeping him.

Liverpool will finish 10 or 15 points above them next year. Possibly more.
yet again watching through rose tinted glasses
Not at all. We've just got much better players.

It's always nice when an old team reaches its peak and possibly finishes above Liverpool but that's your lot.
you also said earlier in this thread that you would finish much higher than us this season, thae maximum is just above us even if you do that

so forgive me if I take your predictions with a pinch of salt

I guess you are also assuming that we do not buy any players

Interesting remark about aged players, giggs/scholles both did well for united and I think you write terry off at your peril. Odd thing is one comment suggesting that ferguson put out a b team due to rooney/de gea and ferdinand who is of course no spring chicken, the omission of these players does not constitute a b team out of say a squad of 25.

I fully expect chelsea to beat spurs wed night even allowing for the number of games they played, also they will want to stick one to spurs manager me thinks, for me I would not care if it was a draw but I dont think it will be.

As for Liverpool finishing 10/15 points ahead of us next year thats laughable, they could not beat everton.

Champions league football always attracts the best players and with man u/man city/chelsea and maybe arsenal willing to spend big there wont be much choice for the rest.

It'll be 1-3 spurs without a doubt. The Spurs are playing as a family whereas the Chelski are playing as overpaid numptees. Good bonds will win this one. The fiery passion of football has been non-existent since Roman came for Chelsea - it's still alive and kicking at Spurs.

I really hope good, honest football wins this one. I also hope that the sugar daddy period has been and gone.

Chelski... lower your heads in shame. You now support a pimp daddy's plaything. Embarrassing no? Support an actual football club you muppets. The football world hopes that you fail for ethical reasons.

Just a heads up here really. In business you should always learn the lingo of the dude that pays the salaries. Here you are Caller and TTukMike... (if you don't learn it that is a sign of complete disrespect towards your boss)

Us proper teams needn't do this as we are still proud and still run by English speaking heavyweights.

Chelsea... the Pattaya of football.

Wow such venom GLC, I sincerely hope you do win as it looks like a loss could cause a serious bout of depression.

As for our owner you clearly have not seen any of his interviews, he probably speaks as good english as you do.

Now am I not correct in thinking your owner lives in the bahamas, wonder why that would be??.

Anyway enjoy the game on wednesday I know I will win or lose.

Tuktukmikeski.

That's got to be the funniest thing you have ever written! Do you actually watch any football? Remember our wins over Barca and Munich last year?

3 of Chelseas best players since the Roman revolution were already at the club (Terry, Lamps and Cech, who just scrapes in).

How many Spurs players can you say that about over the same timescale - and take away Bale from Spurs and what sort of average family are you left with?
Talk is cheap

What a silly chappie you are GLC, if Spurs were that good, with fiery passion, their goal difference wouldn`t be so dismal. You should know that true fans don`t change clubs on a whim let alone change from a successful club for an almost club.Who knows who will get into the CL, exciting for the neutrals, but just in case Spuds don`t make it I hope you have a psychologist`s number in your phone.

It used to be so much more fun back in the day.

Before you would have to think of something quite witty and clever to entice the chosen out of their hole. Now they seem to eat anything.

I have much more fun nowadays asking astronomy questions to these fellas...

... and yes. There really is a Button Moon forum. God help me. :D

Caller... I'm all mouth me. I'm simply goading our most fortunate London rivals which is customary before their big battle. May you be shackled by Romans chains for many a year.

... and I stand by my 1-3 prediction - ! (apologies for vulgar language will be handed out on the day of your defeat)
