Sure I heard on one of the news channels that moyes had delayed signing a new contract until the summer, they said his current contract runs out at the end of this season.

If so then I doubt there would be any payment for his services, coupled with the fact he has served everton loyally for more than 10 years with a limited budget.

Next season is going to be a cracker.

Some good stuff from Lou Macari on Sky Sports News, he felt it was better that Man Utd went for a young coach like David Moyes, 50, instead of somebody older, like Mourinho, 50.

Very insightful and well worth his wages.

my feeling of Moyes meeting with Kenwright yesterday was just a simple goodbye and possibly telling him that Baines and fellani would be joining him down the road

Makes a lot more sense of the last window now if they both knew where they were going

Not only does David Moyes get a shiny new company car - he gets a company watch..............

Always loved Villa.
Fine team, with fine supporters and great strikers.
Great talent all round, good young manager.
Lots to prove and still not quite clear of relegation.
All to play for then.

COME ON VILLA!!

Have to agree about Frank, sadly.
As for the rest of it, I think Villa can consider themselves slightly unlucky to have lost.

And after watching Luis in action in the 2nd half, I really don't want to hear a Chelsea fan ever again complaining about Bale or Suarez. In fact, I would say Luis makes them look rank amateurs in the diving stakes.

EDIT: Interesting talking point - did it cross the line or not? The answer is 'probably', just for a nanosecond, but there is no way it could ever have been given by any official. What I find interesting is just how good the goal line technology will be next season.

BREAKING NEWS:

Apparently the FA are to consider docking Chelsea 6 points as punishment for the pitch invasion by their fans after Lampard's 2nd goal!!

Well, it was a fascinating game, ending 9 v 10! We won, as for once, I correctly predicted on IKTS! But I didn't anticipate it being such a close run thing.

Great for Lamps, a proud and honest achievement and well deserved.

Gutted about the injuries, although Benitez has a blind spot when it comes to Terry, although he'd be in my starting XI every time, but Hazard's is a major blow if he can't play in Wednesday's final.

With the exception of DM (honourable mention there), the spuds have otherwise gone quiet.....?

Mind you, caller, so have we. It's just too nervy, yet again. And there's no champions league win to save the day for the Northerners. Congratulations for you guys, it's Lamps time again but as with Gerrard , time is running out for him, too. Great achievement, I've actually always like him, for his effort, for his stylish play and most of all for his loyalty (if the Hammers fans will excuse me) to his team.

At the end of the day, he was hounded out by Hammers fans. 'Fat Frankie' was not popular, probably because he was managed by his Uncle 'Arry' and coached by his old man. I guess the view being that was the only way he got a place in the team?

I worked with a couple of 'Ammers fans at the time he joined us when Ranieri was manager at the Bridge. They thought the amount we paid was hysterical, a waste of money and they were glad to see the back of him.

Probably sums up the difference between the fans and teams.
