BaaBaa, here comes the first one. I'v got these posts from different threads of football. Now summer holidays are only two weeks away from now (there'll be ten weeks of them for me) and I'll print these comments using big fonts and then I'll have a look at them every now and then during the vacation. I may snort a bit and have a laugh, then sip at my beer and look at them again. When the vacation is over, it's time for a new season and then we can start it all over again. Happy summer for all of you, no matter which team you support.

Gareth Bale... The best player in the world!
May his stay at Spurs be long and prosperous.
Terry
As I said some time back - the Arse without RvP are distinctly average................
Bamboo Grove:
Sadly, I can't see us staging a come back this time.
JimmyGraves
It's about time you didn't!
We should have had a few more goals but the wins the main thing.
Terry:
7 points ahead and methinks that the CL is not for the Arse. Not that it's ours yet..........
Anyone want a French Manager
THANK YOU Zidane - for restoring the only Arse worth watching
Baa.Baa
Arsenal look all over the shop though, I think Liverpool will finish 5th, above Arsenal.
Bamboo Grove:
Solid performances for the Toffees and us today. Don't count your chickens, yet, Terry and Caller.
Bamboo Grove:
Interesting city battles in the premier league: the battle of Manchester seems to be more or less over, the battle of London still has three teams fighting for places 3-5 with the last one missing the CL, the battle of Liverpool seems to be going to the blue part of the Scouseland.
Terry:
Great result - maybe there is a God after all...............

Despite the match ending goalless it was a good one. Not many clear chances to score but entertaining anyway. In my own calculations before the Swansea match, I thought that we can draw against Everton and ManU and still finish above Chelskea and Spuds. In these calculations of mine I have Spuds to draw with Citeh and Chelskea and winning the rest and Chelskea drawing with Liverpool, ManU, Everton and Spuds and winning the rest. That way we'd end up in 73 points, Spuds in 72 and Chelskea in 71.
Then again, if you look at my IKTS success this season, who am I to predict anything at all. I've had the Arsenal calculations correct so far, though.
dtaai-maai:
It would also help if Arsenal got the results to go with their performances!
Terry:
I was also thinking that if we lost this one, it would be a travesty, bearing in mind the somewhat woeful performances of the Arse in the last few games and the luck that they have had. (Sorry BG)

So far so good but now we need to win the last three remaining matches, may not be as easy as it looks.

Well, I thought Spurs were just about second best for a lot of that game. Chelsea were much sharper in their passing and movement and quicker to close us down. That midfield trio of Mata, Ramires and Hazard were very impressive, especially in the first hour.
Having said that, Adebayor played well (and about effin' time too) and we finished strongly. I think Chelsea were happier to hear the final whistle. A draw probably a fair result, and keeps us in the running.
And it certainly wasn't boring!
2 games left. For us nothing less than wins against Stoke and Sunderland will do, and I think the fans have a right to expect that.
Can Chelsea draw or lose against both Villa and Everton? I'd put a tenner on that if I was given decent odds.
Can Arsenal fail to beat either Wigan or Newcastle? Bloody right they can.
This season ain't finished yet!
COYS!
Agree with that
A fair but still naff result for us.
Having to depend on others' results is not what we should be having to do.
If, during the season, Adebayor had turned in a few more stints like he did last night, it may have been different.

Overall - quite inferior by the Arse.
Not fair, Terry. Credit where credit is due. They lost bravely, with spirit and pluck. Long may they continue to do so...
