I don`t suppose a straight swap, Bale for Ramsey would be of interest to you. I mean Aaron not Sir Alf by the way. (is he still alive?) What Ramsey lacks in skill he makes up in, erm, nothing really.

Bale won't be leaving this season. Just simply silly speculation.

Even that god awful 'The Sun' newspaper can't find any little molehills to make mountains out of on this one  .

The guy's not a twat. New father, settled nicely, young lad, knows his recently signed 4 year contract will be a little more cushy fairly soonish...

... and some of you guys 'ave a go at me for speculating.

The above post might well be the 1st on BG's 'will this will come back and haunt me' list!

Actually, I think everything in this thread will soon be forgotten as this will only be snow of the long gone winter. Who'd like to start a new thread for the coming season, transfer rumours will soon start flyingn in.

No I was avin a tin barf!!

Personally, if Bale does leave WHL, I would be very surprised if he joined another London club, so either one of the Man clubs or more likely, one of the big European clubs. I hope he stays though.

Here`s a conspiracy theory, Fabregas signed a long term contract with Arsenal, the next year he was transferred to Barcelona for lots of money because of this contract, Arsenal got more money and Fabregas got a bigger share too. Could this be a deal between Bale and Spurs for them both to get more money?

Rumour has it he's signing a 150K per week deal but with a get-out clause if Spurs are offered in excess of 50 million.......

Liverpool to sign Kolo Toure on a free transfer from Manchester City when his contract expires in June :? ....reaction from Baa Baa later.

I think Bales new contract stipulates he has to stay at the Spuds for at least one more season before the 50m get out clause kicks in.

Fine by me as a 3rd - 4th choice Centreback, basically Carras replacement. No problem whatsoever with that.

Apparently we're close to signing Papadopoulos from Schalke who's a really highly rated Greek 21 year old Centreback.
Looks a nutter to be honest.

Also already nicked a 16 year old Barca prospect, Canos. 8)

I've said before I like Carroll but if Rodgers doesn't rate the lad it's 16 million in the transfer kitty. Hope he does well.

Loads of rumours that Begovic is a done deal as well, which means Reina to Barca, dunno what to make of that, Begovic is better than Reina judging by the last 2 years but Reina has found some form since January and he'll be a huge loss personality wise, especially with Carra gone as well.

To flog Bale or not to flog is a bit of a conundrum, we got Suarez and Coutinho for 30 million so 50 million or so is huge money.

Bale is a great player but he won't have that pull YET of "I'm gonna sign for Spurs because I've always wanted to play with Bale"

Suarez probably played as Gerrard on his Xbox, Bale hasn't got that yet.
