I`ll start off with an easy one.
Which is the only top-flight football club in Europe named after a multi-national corporation?
This is the way

I knew it as I actually like to see how they are doing at the moment. This is because Sami Hyypiä is their gaffer.

Easy for you, maybe, cos you asked the question !! :guns:

Is it OK for anyone to ask a question once the previous one has been correctly answered ?

Anyway,heres one.....
March 1976....Leicester City 2 Aston Villa 2.....on the face of it a run of the mill score between two ordinary teams, but what was so unusual about this game ?

I'll stay out of this one as I know the answer, but chuckle at just being reminded of it!

I have a feeling that one player, can't remember the name nor which side he played for (guess it was for Leicester) scored all four goals?

Okay, as others have said, it was Chris Nicholl of Aston Villa who scored all 4 goals!

Okay, sticking with my club, which Country did Chelsea play twice in the run-up to a world-cup, winning one and losing one? Shouldn't be too hard to google (but not where I got it from).

Hmm, no takers then, fair enough - too Chelsea perhaps? Well, lets try and finish it off, it was broadly speaking in the run up to the 1966 World Cup, so only 15 Countries to choose from! Okay, I'm feeling generous, it wasn't North Korea, so that's 14 left!

Funnily enough, caller,I was thinking it must be prior to the 1966 World Cup held in England......but that was just a wild guess !
I reckoned it would be one of the teams based down south if they played against Chelsea.....from memory they were England,Uruguay,France and Switzerland ?
So I'll go for Uruguay......... :rasta:

Not Uruguay, but as no-ones playing, I'll give the answer - it was West Germany.

But it was in 1965, hence the use of the word 'run-up'.

We beat them 1-0 in Duisberg and then lost 3-2 at Essen.

I believe that was the last defeat before losing in the final to England.

In total, Chelsea have played against 13 Countries, including Thailand!
