The original is not that clear as it has been copied a few thousand times I expect.

Thanks BB & Bristolian. :D

I will try to nip up to immigration sometime next week to see what other guidance notes they have. Assuming there are several, I will publish them in a dedicated thread, and make it a sticky.

Be aware that if using the "combination method" -- i.e. using a combination of income + savings to be B800,000 -- Hua Hin Immigrations requires that the savings has to have been in the bank for 90 days.

That is NOT how the Immigrations Police Order is written, and it is NOT how the rest of the country does it. Per the Police Order the only time the money has to be seasoned for 90 days is when using the "bank account only" method. At other offices, if you are using the combination method, the savings can be deposited the day before applying for the extension. However in Hua Hin, the savings has to have been on deposit for 90 days.

Hot off the press, I renewed my visa this morning and in addition to what is requested here, they also want a copy of your TM6 (current arrival/departure card showing date last entered Kingdom) and I also had to copy the page in my passport that included the entry stamp when arriving in the Kingdom on my original O-A visa - not sure why, but it wasn't worth debating so I just did as requested. Everything else was fine and the whole process took just over 30 minutes.
