Okay, so the Thai bloke at Makro was correct when he directed me to the salted pork intestines. To the other poster who mentioned 250 per pack - at Makro you get a large 1kg pack for 92 baht.

On a different note: I tried my hand at making Northern Thai Sausage yesterday using collagen casings and an ordinary plastic funnel. Really easy to do and a lot quicker than I would have thought. The great thing is, my 8 year old daughter got the hang of it within a few seconds.....lol.


Well, I guess I'll head down to Makro in a few minutes for some salted casing and other supplies, and then look forward to eating good home made sausage for the next week or two until the novelty wears off. :laugh:


PS: I was getting mixed up between Isaan Sausage and Northern Sausage. I enjoy both, but would choose the latter any day. :thumb:
