Kayak

Post by nomad_dude »

Anybody know where I could buy a kayak?
Also any recommendations for a tackle shop?
I would like to try to do some kayak fishing.

Thanks

Going North along Petchkasem Road turn right at the traffic lights into Soi 57. A few yards on the right along Soi 57 there are 2 tackle shops (one doesn't really look like a tackle shop from the outside). Both stock a good range, but the one that doesn't look like a tackle shop is much cheaper.

Thanks Big Boy! I will go check those out

barrys, I guess just a sit on top plastic job. I've never fished from a kayak before but think if I can find one I will give it a go.

These guys make decent kayaks, they're based in Bangkok but you can order online and they will deliver for a small fee:

They used to have some in the outside at Thai Watsadu but I don't recall seeing them lately, so either they have moved them or there wasn't enough demand and they've stopped stocking them!!

I have seen some inside, but not sure iff it was a kayak or boat, didn't looked that well.

Go through the main entrance then straight forward and they're on your left side near the end of the aile.

Better hope you don't hook something big or it may tow you to Singapore. :duck:
