The photo is quite remarkable unless the sludge is sitting on the bottom somewhere in the form of tar. I was in the coastal area over the weekend and didn't see any signs of oil at all. Pete :cheers:

Boats remove oildrenched waste from Ao Phrao beach on Koh Samet. The beach has almost returned to normal after a week of clean-up operations following the crude oil leak from a PTT Global Chemical pipeline....
