FRENCHY SOON COMING TO HUAHIN

Post by Gérard »

Hello Everybody !
I am French, 63, planning to come and live in Huahin or nearby next november.
I have been living in Thailand for 13 years, 5 years in Sattahip, then trying Mukdahan, Buriram and came back to Chonburi/Bangsaen, nearer from BKK and the airport.
After 5 years in Bangsaen, nice place, I want to move to Cha-Am or Huahin for a few years.
I like to travel through Thailand and nearby countries, mostly riding a big bike, sometimes riding a bicycle.
As a former translater, I am interested in languages and started to learn Thai 13 year ago, can speak, read and write rather well. I have spent 2 years as an assistant to a Thai teacher teaching foreigners.
It will be a pleasure to meet anyone interested in motorcycles, bicycles or Thai language.
Cheers,
Gérard

Welcome. You certainly have some valuable experience. If you have the time, perhaps you might share your views on the various places you have lived in Thailand?

Welcome to the forum Gérard
Hope to see you on the road in the future.
There are a number of fellow biker on the forum that does bike runs. Usually on saturdays - but I have not seen it announced for some time now - I know that some of the guys are away from thailand for a couple of months at the moment (including myself) so that might be the reason.
What bike do you drive ?

It will be a pleasure to join one of these bike runs one day.
I just sold a 2010 ER6n, now riding a 20 years'old Yamaha FZX 750 that I have been restoring in the last months. Perfect for a small guy like me (168cm), and I have 2 of them in France, one for parts, the other one in as new condition.
