All of the ATM's belonging to one of Thailand’s largest banks will be going dark for six hours one week from Saturday.
On the night of Nov. 9, Siam Commercial Bank will temporarily close their ATM service nationwide for system upgrades from 11pm until 5am the following morning.

I'm sure they're not the first, but what is odd is that they chose a Saturday night which is when many people may be out enjoying the evening. November 10 would have been a much better choice IMO. Pete

Not Thailand, I know, but whenever my bank in the UK schedules work, it is always late Saturday night/early Sunday morning.

Oh, that's saved our money to drain out through a beer bottle!!!
