Mainly Isaan food but also other Thai food. Close to Soi 88/2.
The review was good, but would like to get some feedback from anyone of you who have tried them.
My girlfriend is very fond of Isaan food, so will probably try them out when we get there in March if they are any good.

Can't recommend it enough
Try the djamm kanaah moo yang - salad dish with chinese brocoli and grilled pork(it's moo grob -crispy pork on the menu, but they will do it with moo yang, grilled pork, and it's much better).
Also have a large selection of fried and steamed fish if that's your thing.

Sounds great - any chance of a precise-ish location guys?

Link to restaurant, which included a menu is strictly against forum rules. This is in fairness to forum sponsors who are offering similar services.

Just past Market Village, heading south, there's a small eye clinic and a dentist. The soi entrance then breaks the paving and yok crock is on the corner at the other side of the soi entrance (opposite the dentist)

Hi all,
The taste of food most is good, I have been there very often, but since I moved to Mon Mai area its quite far away for me to stop for lunch out there. I would recommend both Thai and Farang to try once.

Yes, I know linking to the restaurant is against the rules, but this was a link to a review of the restaurant in a thai food blog so I thought that was allowed.Big Boy wrote:Link to restaurant, which included a menu is strictly against forum rules. Which included a link to the menu, and that is a definite no.Chromeman wrote:this was a link to a review of the restaurant in a thai food blog so I thought that was allowed.
If you look at the Terrace 90 Advertorial, you will see that even they cannot link to their own web page.

Re: Ruamsaeb Yokkhok

is not to the menu of Ruamsaeb Yokkhok but a link to the "100 Thai Dishes to Eat in Bangkok: The Ultimate Eating Guide" on another blog...Though mainly an Isaan restaurant, they really served a menu of Thai dishes that included just about everything.

The only other link in that review is a link to a blog posting about eating seafood in Hua Hin.
Re: Ruamsaeb Yokkhok
Besides, it does not look like Ruamsaeb Yokkhok has a web presence at all. I googled them both in English and Thai name and the only hits I found were from sites like TripAdvisor and this actual thread.
But here is the map posted in the original blog posting:

I can recommend it also. I ate there a couple of times when I was over in September. First class Thai Food in my limited opinion. Your Thai lady will love it also as mine certainly did.
