Re: Amusing sign
Is it near or in front of what people try to use as a nude beach? I wouldn't be surprised at a sign warning against going topless, but I've never seen a warning about going bottomless before.

Re: Amusing sign
Pete, it was actually about as far as you could get from the sea in that part of Khao Takiab, at the top of a very steep hill. It was at the entrance to a very small temple.
Siani, yes of course that it what it meant, but I just found it amusing at what it actually said.

I personally would like to see the punishment of 1000 baths.
Perhaps the same as cuts by 1000 knives, but more gentle.
You can get your bikinis or boxers laundered at the same time.

Re: Amusing sign
That seems to be it then and quite understandable- do not enter the temple wearing bikini or boxer shortsBig Boy wrote:Pete, it was actually about as far as you could get from the sea in that part of Khao Takiab, at the top of a very steep hill. It was at the entrance to a very small temple.

Re: Amusing sign
It is a great pity that there are no English speaking Farangs living in Hua Hin. I am sure that if there were one of them would be only too happy to write the correct message for them, especialy if it is outside a temple.

May you be in heaven half an hour before the devil know`s you`re dead!

I suggest such signs be posted in German and Russian!Nereus wrote:It is a great pity that there are no English speaking Farangs living in Hua Hin. I am sure that if there were one of them would be only too happy to write the correct message for them, especialy if it is outside a temple.
