Sterling Pound / Thai Baht

With UK interest rates due to rise almost certainly this year then you can expect the pound to continue to strengthen against the Bhat - generally financial markets take this into account some months in advance.

So will it go all the way to 60 ? I don't see why not with the Uk economy continuing to improve and interest rate rises a certainty.

Possibly but I wouldn't wait for it (bird in the hand----) I believe the government is concerned that the high pound is affecting British exports. Tempting for Brits to buy US$, Gold and Thai stocks just now on the other hand Fx trading seems to work in surprising ways at times.

Up goes interest rates up goes the value of the currency - why? - because that currency becomes a haven for investment. In the short term this is not surprising

Yes I get get that bit. What I was getting at is Fx trading is very unpredictable and the vast majority of punters lose money. Trading in stocks offer better odds (IMHO)

Well, it looks like the GBP is going to be for a torrid time again mainly due to increasing liklihood of a Scottish breakaway.
It's already lost 3.5% against the USD in the last month and lost 1.5 cents yesterday alone.
Saw a snippet on France 24 earlier saying that it could drop another 10%+.
Just as I was getting used to some better days.

I did say a couple of days ago....... That the pound will slide up to referendum day...... If the vote is yes...... It will go into freefall
